A Fond Farewell ...

 

I have tried over the last year and a half to keep my Stampin’ Up! business going while maintaining a full credit load at FMCC.  Since I am already a wife, mother, friend, Sunday School teacher, etc.  I’ve “dropped the ball” on numerous occasions, and it’s just proving to be too much for me to handle in a way that will enable me to do everything to the best of my abilities.  I have decided that I need to retire as a demonstrator.

 

I appreciate opportunity of getting to know you over the years, and will miss stamping with you.  Thanks so much for supporting me emotionally through tough times like when my mom passed away, for sharing your awesome stamping talents with me, and for attending my classes and placing orders through me.

 

In appreciation of all the support you’ve given me over the years, I wanted to give you first crack at picking up the stamp sets that I am selling to “thin the herd.”   I have listed the set names below with a price that’s a bit lower than recent eBay auctions or catty price for current sets.  Photos of the fronts and backs of each of the sets can be viewed at my weblog: www.stampingdeb.com by clicking on the Stamps Sets for Sale photo album.  The first person to call or email me requesting the set will be entitled to it.  The price is assuming you pick it up from me either at my home or close to the FMCC campus.  If you’d like me to mail your sets, I’ll need to weigh the box and then add shipping to the total of the sets.

 

I will be active on SU’s records from the next month, so I wanted to give you one last chance to place an order through me at my 20% Instant Income Savings rate.  Let me know if you need any refills, cardstock, etc. by April 20, and I’ll place one last order to keep everyone supplied while you transition to a new demonstrator.

I hope that everyone had enjoyable holidays full of fun and family memories in the making.  This was the first year I added 14 credits of college study to baking cookies and shopping for gifts -- stressful to say the least.  Still, it was fun having Ken's family up for Christmas week.  Thank God I had a few dozen cards stamped up in July.  I never would have had time in December to make them.

Now that we're packing the decorations away for another year, I finally have the chance to thank you for your patience and support during the past year.  School is going great, and I apologize for the delay in getting back to some of you in a less than timely manner while I learned to juggle everything. 

I'm hoping to be more organized this year.  I miss doing classes, but I hope to still stay in touch and share ideas for projects as I can.  With this in mind, please let me know if you want a new Spring-Summer 2009 catalog.  Sellabration is coming up, too, so let me know if you also want a Sellabration catalog.  Thanks also to those of you who thought to order on line directly.  I'm so glad you could still get the supplies you needed while I was cramming for finals.  I am available for questions about the new merchandise or other things I can assist you with.  Just give me a quick call or email.

Need to Reschedule Oct. 24 Class

I've been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa, the FMCC honor society, and the Induction ceremony is on October 24.  Sorry, but I've worked hard to achieve the 4.0 average that prompted the invitation in the first place, so I don't want to miss this chance to hold a lit candle while my family looks on with "way to go" in their eyes.

I will look through my calendar to reschedule the Christmas stamp a stack in early November.

If you're like me, you can be found in front of the computer in your PJs late at night ordering online.  While I would never call my friend, Beth Shostek, at midnight to order a new stoneware piece, I love being able to go to her Pampered Chef website anytime day or night and order it at my convenience, knowing she still gets a commission on the sale.  Stampin' Up! is now allowing you to do the same thing!  We've asked for this cabability for a while now, and, not only have they listened to our request, they have made it SO EASY!!!

LOVING the New Catty!!!

Wow!  I am loving the new catalog.  This is the first time in quite a while that I can say that.  My wish list is a mile long!  I mailed many of you catalogs before I left in late August.  If you didn't receive one and would like to, please let me know.  You can also click on the link to the right to see the online copy.  Hope you love it as much as I do!  I'll be adding the link to the Christmas mini catalog as soon as it's available on Oct. 1.  If, however, you'd like a copy of your own, please email and I'll mail one to you.

Because of my cross-country trip and college class schedule, I wasn't able to set up an Open House in September, but please check out my Join the Fun link to see when my next classes will be.  My apologies to those of you who preferred the day sessions of classes.  Unfortunately, I needed to take morning classes 5 days a week this semester and won't be able to do day sessions right now. 

I ordered the full Big Shot package and absolutely love it.  I also have the old push the lever down Sizzix machine and have to tell you, this is so much easier and my old dies fit perfectly!  I am having so much fun playing with it, creating cards, gift tags with scalloped-edged envelopes and bagalope toppers.  See what all the excitement is about at my October class.
